Local residents allocate emergency supplies at Tai Po Market. On Wednesday 26th November, a tower in Wang Fuk Court, which is an eight-tower complex in Tai Po, Hong Kong, had caught fire, while the complex had been under renovation, the towers were clad in bamboo scaffolding and mesh, it led to the rapid spread of the deadly fire to the other six towers. The incident soon escalated to Level 5 fire, for the first time in 17 years. After an overnight rescue operation by firefighters and police force, the fire was reportedly under control. The death toll has been rising following the continuation of the rescue work.
